Maiya Tamang, a respected community leader, current advisor, and former secretary of the Tamang Society of America (TSA), has been appointed as the Vice President of the Federation of Indigenous Women of Nepal in America.

The announcement was made during a heartfelt event that also celebrated her 65th birthday. Surrounded by the federation’s president, executive board members, and lifetime members, the celebration was filled with tributes and well-wishes in honor of her achievements.

This recognition highlights Maiya Tamang’s enduring commitment to cultural advocacy, women’s empowerment, and community leadership.
