A total of $32,500 was collected by TSA during the Buddha Jayanti and TCBC fundraising event

The Tamang Society of America (TSA) is proud to share that $32,500 was raised during the recent Buddha Jayanti and TCBC Fundraising Event. On this meaningful occasion, community members came together with generosity and unity to support the long-awaited Tamang Cultural and Buddhist Center (TCBC).

With great pleasure, TSA also announces that a total of $25,255 has now been allocated to the TCBC building fund. This marks a significant step forward in our mission to establish a permanent center that honors our cultural identity and spiritual values.

Sunita Thokar Tamang Donates $5,505 to Support TSA Cultural Center and Buddhist Center

The Tamang Society of America (TSA) proudly acknowledges the generous contribution of Mrs. Sunita Thokar Tamang, a dedicated community supporter residing in New Jersey.

In support of TSA’s ongoing initiative to build the Tamang Cultural and Buddhist Center in the United States, Mrs. Tamang has contributed a total of $5,505. This includes a previous donation of $5,000, along with an additional $505 made recently on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti.

Lama Guru Dungzin Lopen Rinpoche Dhawa Syangbo Contributes $2,015 to TSA Cultural and Buddhist Center

In support of TSA’s ongoing mission to establish the Tamang Cultural and Buddhist Center in the United States, Lama Guru Rinpoche has contributed a total of $2,015. This includes a previous donation of $1,015, along with an additional $1,000 made on the special occasion of Buddha Jayanti.

 The Tamang Society of America (TSA) proudly extends its heartfelt thanks to Mr. Indra Tamang Thokar, current Advisor of TSA and Coordinator of the Tamang Cultural and Buddhist Center (TCBC), for his exceptional financial contribution to the center’s construction project in New York.

Mr. Thokar previously donated $15,000 and, on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti, contributed an additional $5,000 — bringing his total donation to an impressive $20,000. His generous support reflects an extraordinary dedication to preserving Tamang culture, traditions, and spiritual heritage.
